Business Function Room Hires

Our rooms are very popular with local businesses looking to hold meetings, host receptions or even hold conferences or training sessions.  We have spaces with flexible seating, and of varying sizes enabling us to host a variety of events. 

Rooms can be hired individually, or put together to form a package.  Catering can also be provided.  Please see below for details.

 

Main Space

If you require a larger space for a reception, meeting, conference or presentation, the Main Space may be the most suitable. The retractable raked seating, means the space can be used as an auditorium, arranged in a seated cabaret -style, or as an open area for standing events. The Altar stage, situated at the far end of the building, provides an alternative space for refreshment or displays. 

The space is also equipped with a large screen, which can be used for film showing, and has staging available. As a professional performance venue we are able to arrange a variety of technical support for your event.  Please discuss your needs when booking.

The capacity for the Main Space is up to 400, dependant on layout.

 

Exhibition Space

The Gallery can be hired as a space to hold a standing event, outside of normal opening hours. Suitable for smaller receptions, award ceremonies or private functions, the regularly changing art in the space provides a beautiful setting and background.

The capacity for the Exhibition space is 60, standing.

 

White Room

The White Room is a popular venue for local businesses holding training events and meetings.  Located on the upper floor of the arts centre the room has large windows overlooking the park area surrounding the Centre, and has retractable raked seating for 60 people.

The White Room can be arranged in a variety of ways, including Conference, Board Room and Meeting. It is also a great space for corporate entertainment. It has an adjacent kitchen to allow preparation of food and drinks if required, in addition to all usual catering options.

The White Room has a capacity of 60, dependant of layout.

 

Media Space

The Media Space is situated on the upper floor of the original building, and is an ideal place for to hold smaller meetings. It has a northern aspect, and is light and bright. The room is equipped with 8 Apple Mac computers, has internet access, and is therefore ideal for training or demonstrations. Please enquire at time of booking.

The Media Space has a capacity of 20, dependent on layout

 

 

Art Space 

Situated next to the Media Space, the Art Space is also ideal for meetings of up to 20 people.

It is possible to hire the entire upper floor (White Room, Media Space and Art Space) as a complete package for a larger event requiring separate areas, for example a conference or training event requiring break out rooms. 

Please ask at point of booking for a competitive package fee.

Catering

Salisbury Arts Centre’s catering team can provide 4 delicious menus to accompany your function. 

The Working Lunch menu has been designed specifically with businesses in mind. 

Choose form a range of freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and fresh fruit.  Ideal for meetings, conferences and seminars for up to 60 delegates.

Tea, coffee and fruit juice can also be provided

£6.25 + VAT per head

Tea, coffee and fruit juice available as required at £1 per head

For receptions held in our Exhibition Space you may be interested in our Something Smaller menu.  This selection of small nibbles, includes olives, caperberries and habas fritas and is the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine during a networking or reception event.

The Something Smaller menu is available £2.50 + VAT per head
