2009 BUSINESS MEMBERS' GROUP LAUNCHED

Salisbury Arts Centre has just announced the launch of the second year of its Business Members’ Group after the success of the 2008 group!

The group, which gives businesses in Salisbury and the region the chance to connect with the Arts Centre and its audiences as well as a number of other benefits, was launched in October last year to great success, attracting over 40 members and official support from the Salisbury and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry!

Salisbury Arts Centre is now hoping to develop relationships with even more businesses and see the group for 2009 grow.

Sophie Dubber, Audience Development & Marketing Manager at the Arts Centre developed the idea for the venue last year and is responsible for the group.  She says; ‘The Arts Centre’s Business Members’ Group for 2008 was a great success and we were delighted to connect and develop new relationships within the region’s business community.  Now we look towards 2009 we appreciate that many businesses face financial uncertainty with the current economic climate, however we really believe that the opportunities and benefits we can offer can really help raise custom and income for our members. 

We aim to make the group as accessible as possible, by setting the price at only £150 + VAT per year.  This is a tiny investment in return for benefits including web links, company names printed in 45,000 brochures, company names displayed at the box office and of course the all important free tickets and drinks receptions!’

Sophie also went on to explain; ‘as part of the 2008 benefits to business members we offer a link directly from the arts centre’s website to the members’ sites.  This year in addition to this we are delighted to offer a brief description of each member on our site alongside their link.  This is for no extra cost, but we hope will just help our business members just that little bit more.’
