Francis Dunnery chooses Salisbury Arts Centre

On Sunday 21 February founder member of It Bites, Francis Dunnery, comes to Salisbury Arts Centre with a solo performance.

Catch Francis Dunnery live!

Francis is probably best known as the drummer and lead singer of the 80’s group, but since then he has gone on to record ten studio albums, enjoy solo hit singles, including American Life In Summertime, and to work alongside Ian Brown, Lauryn Hill and Elton John.

His performance at Salisbury Arts Centre us one of only thirteen gigs in the UK to sing the songs and tell the stories of his CD The Gulley Flats Boys. He will also be experimenting with a brand new format for his acoustic performances.

Francis has handpicked the venues he will be performing at to reflect his relaxed acoustic style.  He says;

"I tried really hard to pick venues that would accommodate a more appropriate energy for my shows. It's hard to sing intimate songs like 'Through my Fathers Eyes' over lots of background noise."

Francis is now known for more than just music as the performer is now known for his other talents including astrology readings, psychology and even horse training – skills that he honed during a break from his musical career. He started again touring again in 2000 with his new acoustic shows and intimate house concerts.

His concerts allow him the opportunity to combine his life stories, educational interests and amazing musical talents into an intimate life changing evening.
