Join a Theatre Company

Salisbury Arts Centre are currently working on two projects, which give young people the chance to work in two brand new small theatre companies.

The Hood

The Hood is a chance to work with Hoodwink Theatre Company, Salisbury Arts Centre's resident theatre company.

If you’re age 14 - 18 and interested in performance, visual art, movement, theatre making or just being creative then this is for you!

You’ll work with professional theatre company Hoodwink Theatre and will always work towards professional performances, installations and artistic experiences for the public to enjoy.

You’ll also have the chance to:

• See performances at Salisbury Arts Centre
• Get out and about for festivals and events
• Write reviews for Salisbury Arts Centre’s website
• Work towards Arts Awards
• Create exciting artist events for members of the public

Weekly sessions:
Thursdays, 25 February – 25 March, 7pm – 9pm, working towards a performance during the Arts Centre's Family Festival.
Age 14 – 18

Summer Stage 2010

Salisbury Arts Centre and Salisbury Playhouse are looking for young people age 11 - 18 who are interested in acting, film and movement for Summer Stage 2010.

People involved will get to work with Arts Centre and Playhouse professionals to create a brand new performance in just two weeks, based around the theme of memories and forgotten things.

Rehearsals will take place 2 - 18 August with public performances on 13 and 14 August at Salisbury Arts Centre.

Those age 18+ may also be interested in working with us on other areas of the project, including film production, technical work and directing.

Places are available for £150 and are limited.
