If you enter Salisbury Arts Centre by the main front entrance the first people to welcome you will be our friendly box office staff.  From our box office you will be able to find out more about what is going on at the arts centre, book your tickets, learn more about our visual art exhibitions, find out what else is happening in the area or even buy some locally made jewellery, pottery and handmade cards.

If you have any questions or would like to leave a comment about Salisbury Arts Centre please just ask at the box office and the staff will be happy to help you.

Salisbury Arts Centre regularly hosts a variety of visual art exhibitions.  From multimedia displays to paintings and sculpture, our exhibitions are displayed here and further into the café area. 

All our exhibitions have accompanying catalogues and information so you will be able to find out more about the artists and the ideas behind the work, or even purchase your own piece of art!

Main Space

 

Main Space

Located in the former nave of the church, Salisbury Arts Centre’s main space is where the majority of our live events and films take place.  The area is very flexible, so events can take place on raked seating, in rows, in cabaret style or with no seating at all!

Our café is situated at the back of the main space.  We have a number of café tables for you to sit around and enjoy a snack or light lunch.  The café also hosts a number of smaller live events, including regular Poetry Café events, and Saturday Live Lunches

Bar

Enjoy a drink under one the stained glass window.  The bar at Salisbury Arts Centre is open before, after and sometimes even during events.  Stocking a host of delicious tipples come and enjoy a glass of two. Cheers!

 

Pottery

 Pottery

The pottery is the home of our popular pottery courses, and the studio for Potter in Residence Julie Ayton.  It is housed in the St Edmunds Church former crypt.
