Salisbury Arts Centre is available to hire for all sorts of occasions.    With areas available to accommodate between 12 and 400 people we could be the perfect venue for your event.  For information about individual rooms and the catering we can provide please see below.

Perform

Main Space

If you require a large space for a private function, performance or presentation, the Main Space at the arts centre may be the venue you’re looking for!  The space, which has a capacity of up to 400 people dependant on layout, can be arranged in a number of ways so the seating fits you and your guest’s requirements. The Alter stage, situated at the far end of the building, is ideal to create a top table for weddings and other functions.

 

 

The space is also equipped with a large screen, which can be used for film showing, and has staging available for performances, bands, presentations and DJs.

 

 

If you need a rehearsal space or a professional venue for a production the Main Space can be perfect for theatre, music and other shows.  With a sprung dance floor dance performances can also easily be held in the space.

 

Exhibition Space

The Gallery, which has a capacity of 60 people, can be hired as a space to hold a standing event, outside normal opening hours. Suitable for smaller receptions, award ceremonies or private functions, the regularly changing art in the space provides a beautiful setting and background.

 

 

White Room

Also with a capacity of 60, the White Room is located on the upper floor of the extension. The room has large windows overlooking the park area surrounding the Centre, and has retractable raked seating for 60 people.

 

The room can be blacked out and has a screen suitable for film showings.  The space is ideal for small performances of varying types. Without the rake, the light makes the space an ideal venue for artistic classes; the floor space is also ideal for dance classes or other physical activities.

The White Room can be arranged in a variety of different ways, and is also a great space for entertainment and special occasions. It has an adjacent kitchen to allow preparation of food and drinks if required, in addition to all usual catering options.

 

Media Space

Our smaller Media Space has a capacity of 20, dependant on layout. The room is situated on the upper floor of the original building, and is an ideal place for to hold smaller gatherings. It has a northern aspect, and is light and bright.

 

 

Art Space 

Situated next to the Media Space, the Art Space is great for small events, and has the same capacity as the Media Space.

 

 

Upper Floor

If the idea of the White Room, Media Space and Art Space appeal as a package, it is possible to hire the entire floor as a complete venue for an event requiring separate areas.

Salisbury Arts Centre’s catering team can provide 4 delicious menus to accompany your function. 

Something Smaller

A selection of superior appetisers including olives, caperberries and habas fritas to accompany your function.

£2.50 + VAT per head

The Cold Buffet

A delicious cold buffet, with dishes including

• Choice of homemade tarts
• Range of seasonal salads
• Locally farmed and cold meat platters
• Local cheese board
• Selection of speciality breads
• Selection of seasonal deserts

£10.75 + VAT per head for up to 100 guests

£11.75 + VAT per head for 100 – 150 guests

The Working Lunch

A range of freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and fresh fruit.  Ideal for meetings, conferences nas eminars for up to 60 delegates.

A Hot Alternative

For smaller informal gatherings of up to 50 people we can provide a delicious range of delicious hot dishes.  Themes can include Indian, Mexican, Italian or anything else.  Please contact us to discuss your ideas.
