Work Experience
Salisbury Arts Centre welcomes students for work experience.
We are looking for enthusiastic young people who are outgoing, good team players and have a genuine interest in working behind the scenes. Ability to use a computer and the internet is beneficial as well as the confidence to work with the public.
Work Experience Placements are designed to:

give an insight into the running of an arts venue and careers in the arts

give a broad overview of Salisbury Arts Centre, rather than focusing on a specific area

give a taste of day and evening work
Salisbury Arts Centre is not a producing venue so we are not able to offer experience in areas such as make up and costume design. However, it may occasionally be possible to get involved with site-specific work from resident or visiting companies.
Please note that all placements are voluntary positions.
Work Placements of one week or more can be tailored towards achieving an Arts Award. Please ask for more details.
We also consider applications for work placements from students in Further or Higher Education. Please get in touch to discuss your area of interest.
