How to help
Donate online >>>
If you would like to support Salisbury Arts Centre there are many different ways you can get involved. As well as joining the membership scheme, you could volunteer, run a fundraising event, or earn us commission when you shop online with thousands of retailers like John Lewis or Amazon.
It is easy to make a single donation on our website or through the Box Office on 01722 321744. Alternatively, download a regular donation form if you would like to support us regularly with a standing order payment.
Any amount you can afford will be put to good use here at Salisbury Arts Centre. If everyone who visited us donated just £1, we would receive over £60,000 a year. If we had Gift Aid declarations from each of these visitors, this amount would increase to more than £75,000 a year. That would make a huge difference to our charitable work.
If you would like to discuss a larger gift or leaving a legacy to Salisbury Arts Centre, please email christopher@salisburyarts.co.uk or ring our office on 01722 343020.
Where does my money go?
Salisbury Arts Centre is a registered charity (number 1023945) so all of your donation will go to a good cause. Of course, we have costs that have to be met, like staff salaries and electricity bills, but donations also mean we can run many outreach projects that might not happen without your help. Many events are free to participants so your help could make all the difference to someone less fortunate. See How We Are Funded for more information on how we meet our regular costs.
If you would like to arrange a gift for a specific project, we would love to discuss this with you, but a general donation is the most useful way you can support us. We can't know what challenges we will face in the future, so this means your gift will be put where it is most needed. And if you sign a Gift Aid declaration or tick the box on the website check out page you can increase the value of your gift by 25% at no extra cost! To give you some inspiration, we have given you a few current examples of the sort of projects that might benefit from a donation:
-
Zone Club
Salisbury Arts Centre's music and media arts club for people with learning disabilities. The four hour workshop sessions cost a lot of money to run, and the club could not exist without support from donors and grant making trusts. £20 could provide refreshements for participants and artists for one day.
-
Capital Development Programme
Help us purchase new supplies and upgrade our facilities to enable our visitors to have the best possible experience during their visit. The Arts Centre was renovated in 2005 but there are many items that need replacing. £50 could provide art materials for a childrens workshop.
-
Youth Outreach
With your help we can offer free opportunities for families and young people to experience the arts. We want to make sure that everyone has equal access to our exciting cultural opportunities but we can only do so with your help. £100 could ensure a few more families experience the Family Festival or 10 young people have access to a workshop at the Hijack Alldayer!
