Originally inspired by the music of the Baka forest people of Cameroon, the group is an exhilarating multi-cultural live band, with African and Celtic influences, who use their experiences of the rainforest to create dynamic performances of song, melody and dance.
The group’s latest album has taken the Baka women’s traditional Yelli hunting song to inspire tracks, which like the rest of Baka Beyond’s performances, is a feast for the eyes and heart as well as the ears and feet.
This is a standing event with limited reserved seating. All seats must be booked in advance through the box office, when purchasing tickets.
The bar will open at 7.15pm before this performance.
