It’s 1967, and Midwestern physics professor Larry Gopnik’s life is falling apart - his wife leaves him, his children steal from him, his students blackmail him and his next door neighbour torments him by sunbathing in the nude. Written and directed by the ever brilliant Coen Brothers, this story of one man’s exploration of faith, family and dental phenomena is laced with their trademark dark humour and oddball characters.
The Café bar will open at 6.15pm.
A post show chat with Patrick Bliss will follow this evening’s screening.
