About

Due to some exciting future opportunities we have decided to postpone Ground-Breaking - Wiltshire & the Wider World - Exploring Landscape & Conflict.  We plan to delay this exhibition until 2019. Both Swindon Museum and Cicatrix are supporting this move and keen to work on a new date for 2019.

The current exhibition HOMEGROWN The Artists 2018 at Salisbury Arts Centre is a kaleidoscope of talent showcasing the mastery of several creative disciplines regularly tutored here. The group of artists exhibiting are all affiliated to the Arts Centre either by artistic residency or by running creative workshops, or both.

Visual artists Charlotte Moreton, Suzie Gutteridge, Mathew Dean and Lynne Heaton share the gallery space with the potter Jennie Gilbert the film director Simon DaVison, singer-songwriter Louise Jordan and Hoodwink theatre company. This is the first exhibition curated by resident artist Mirka Golden-Hann whose ceramics, made in the building, are also on show.

Through this exhibition we are not only presenting the wealth of talent of the artists we engage but also looking forward to a future of nurturing creativity within our community.
