A Street Cat Named Bob
The moving and life-affirming true story of the friendship between James Bowen, a homeless young busker, and Bob, a stray Ginger cat who one day limps into his sheltered accommodation with an injured leg. Both are on their ninth life, but James nurses Bob back to health and the pair become inseparable, giving James the strength to get his life back on track. Several cats were brought in to play Bob, but in the end the real Bob proved to be a natural in front of the cameras and plays himself in the film.
