Holidays at Salisbury Arts Centre

In this section you can find out about all the events and activites we have taking place in the school holidays. Our holiday events are planned to coincide with Wiltshire County Council school holidays.

 

Easter Holidays
Saturday 5 - Sunday 20 April

Tuesday 8 April
TRY POTTERY with Julie Ayton
Come along to one of these two hour sessions and have a go at pottery in our dedictaed studio. If you've been wondering if your regular pottery sessions are for you this is a great chance to find out in a one off session!
10am - 12noon or 2pm - 4pm
Age 7 - 14

Tuesday 8 April
ANIMATION with Lucy Fredericks
A great introduction to animation and a chance for those with a bit more experience to gain even more!
10am - 4pm

Wednesday 9 April
CREATIVE KITCHEN ART with Linn O'Carroll
hungry for art? Use herbs, spices, kitchen eqipment and more to make some really tasty pieces of work! Feel free to bring anythign with you that you think may help. Please dress for mess.
10am - 12.30pm, Age 5 - 7
1.30pm - 4pm, Age 8+

Wednesday 9 April
DR NOSE TRAVELS THROUGH TIME - PERFORMANCE
thurtinkle is a much loved storyteller from the land of Big Noses. On his time traveling adventures he meets chracters from history including Queen Victoria, The Vikings, Shakespeare and even Tutankhamen.

Join Thurtinkle to hear about his magical adventures as they are brought to life using puppetry, storytelling and live music.

This performance is recommended for children age 5 - 11 and their family and friends.

Performances at 12noon and 2.30pm
Tickets: £6.50 (concessions £5.50)

 

Thursday 10 April
PLAY IN A DAY: THE CIRCUS RUNAWAYS with Polly Mason SOLD OUT
Create a play in one day wbout two orhpans who run away and join the circus. Join their adventures as they train lions, walk the tightrope and clown about!
10am - 5pm (with a performance for family and friends at 4.30pm)

Wednesday 16 - Friday 18 April
AN ANIMATED EXPERIENCE with Matthew Dean SOLD OUT
This really popular three day workshop gives you the chance to make your own short animated film!
10am - 4pm daily
